Pergamon was famous for its Asclepion. An Asclepion was a "hospital" where you were able to be healed by the god Asclepius (sometimes called Aesculapius).  The layout and amenities of the Asclepion are similar to a modern day health spa.
Asclepion of Pergamon
The Asclepion was considered a hospital where you could be healed by the god Asclepius. The amenities are similar to that of a health spa.
The Asclepion is built specifically at the base of a mountain where the springs run out.
The springs are the "Living Water" of Asclepius and was considered to have healing power.
Stairs descending into the tunnel that takes you to the treatment rooms. You can see the channel for water on the right side where the girl is looking. The water makes a tremendous noise inside the tunnel.

a tunnel which takes you from the relaxation of the theater or library to the treatment room. A stream of water runs just beneath the pavement and provides an amazing fountain sound.
Asclepius is always represented as having a staff with a snake. The same staff and snake which is on the American Medical Association seal.

The video is mostly dark (sorry the lighting is poor in the tunnel) but you can hear the noise created by the stream of water running beneath the pavement stones in the tunnel leading you to your treatment room to be healed by the god Asclepius.

Pergamon is also famous for the altar to Zeus (now located in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany). The base of the altar is pictured below.

"I know where you live - where Satan has his throne" Rev. 2:13

The square outline is the base of the altar to Zeus at Pergamon. This is one possible reason John writes, "I know where you live where Satan has his throne" in his letter to the church at Pergamon (Rev. 2:13).
